Clash of the Titans - Google to dominate ecommerce 3.0...??

My good friend Safa Rashtchy has some interesting comments in internet retailer today on the coming Clash of the Titans between Google and eBay.

He has a good point - put the Google search engine on top of craigslist-like local listings and ebay-like national listings and you have a pretty big competitor to ebay.

But with $40B in GMV/year ebay is far from dead.  But things are definitely going to get ugly.
