There's a rumor floating around Wall St. that Google is looking at bringing eBay into the fold. This is what's behind the recent run up in eBay's stock.
Hmm - eBay as a part of Google Base - could be interesting combination. Personally, I always thought it would be a Y!/eBay combo we would see.

I think it would be a great thing. Ebay is not the same as it was years ago, i think google (if they got the right guys on it) could turn it around. Google is Simple, Fast, Effective, And To The Point, that is what makes them a success.
