Last week - shoot, ready, aim!

Last week was quite active in the eBay world:

  • eBay introduced a random filter without notice that made all javascript and some other words (cookie) be rejected.
  • eBay lengthened the auction ID without notice (we at CA were fine, but customers that have systems built around this were not)
  • eBay is forcing all PSPs to move to a new API by June (we like the old reliable one). Turns out there are many bugs/documentation errors with the new API that are causing issues.

Phew. It will be interesting to see how low listings go because of all these changes.
