First ebay fee increase fatality?

Ever play Mortal Kombat?  It introduced the concept of a "fatality" move that was usually some gnarly way to finish a fight (usually resulting in blood and gore).

When eBay announced the fee changes many of the largest store sellers (typically in the book/music/video category and also what are known as 'catalog sellers') felt like it was Fatality time.

Today the number 11 seller (by feedback), casacaiman, let all of their store listings expire and only has 1500 or so listings up (compared to hundreds of thousands previously).  Powerseller boards were running rampant with speculation that they are done and leaving eBay.  I guess only time will tell.

I understand casacaiman's annoyance!

Fed up with soaring fees, I found a place where I can do my selling for free! Even let's me do things that aren't even dreamed of on ebay. (trading, bartering, negotiating). Even lets me bid on multiple items and cancels all my outstanding bids the moment one of my offers si accepted.

IMO 100 times better than ebay, and it's FREE! www.swapace.com

Checked out the Nortica rating site for the top 500. It would be interesting to see how many of these guys are active now. I check on a few at the top and found them no longer active. Guess at that high feedback, it will take a while to take them to the bottom and off the list.

Is there a site that shows # of listing by ID? That would be interesting to track pre/post August numbers.
