The only downside is it's kind of vintage 2003/4 technology. If you've played around with any of Yahoo!'s offerings, Google's customizable homepage, etc. those all have much more flexible and interactive (AJAX) content editors, drag-n-droppers, etc.
Still, it's a step forward. The tagging is pretty weird though, everything you do is a searchable tag. I suspect this has all been highly geared towards increasing eBay's SEO.
Were all those Anchors on the "ebayness" about me section generated automagically?
If so, a pretty weak attempt at eBay SEO...
