Happy Holidays from Google Checkout - FREE (0.00%) processing until end of year!
We just heard from the folks at Google Checkout that they are rolling out an unprecedented promotion. For those already signed up and those that SIGN UP for Google Checkout, you will receive FREE PROCESSING until the end of the year.
Previously you received the free processing in the ratio of 10:1 with AdWords spend, now they are blowing open the program for folks that don't even have AdWords or are burning through those AdWord credits!

PS - GC support is worthless. They have no clue what good customer service is all about, not being able to help me either of the last two times my orders were lost.

You seem so pro-Google Checkout. Why don't you try and do an informal poll of buyers that have used Google Checkout to pay for an order, only to have it lost or cancelled? I personally have used GC 4 times now, the first two times I had no issues. The third time, the merchant never got my order and it was eventually cancelled. And my last order placed on Tuesday seems to be "lost".
I know many other people with similar issues. The interface between Google and the merchant is screwed. This latest order of mine, at RitzCamera.com, never made it to the merchant. Their support group told me the GC orders are input manually at their corporate offices, but not until they get a feed back from Google. That is a process ripe for failure.
At this rate, even if they get merchant traction, consumer acceptance will likely not follow, especially in the wake of lost orders (over the important holiday shopping season).

That's a great promotion. I wish eBay would let Google Checkout back on so this could be harnessed for Holiday eBay sales. -Jon
